Party zaps vandal legacy

Last month a special party was organised by the Variety Club Scotland to cheer up the teachers and pupils of St Martin’s Primary school after their premises in Castlemilk were vandalised beyond use over the May bank holiday weekend.

Farewell and adieu to the forum

It was a sad day for the current and previous staff, members and residents as they said goodbye to the Castlemilk Community Forum.
At a farewell party organised by Marion Osborne the previous manager of the Forum, 20 people attended to pay their respects and bid adieu to the staff.

PO moves

Castlemilk Post Office is to move 100 yards from 27 Dougrie Drive into R.S. McColl’s in Castlemilk Arcade after the close of business on Wednesday 28 March. Opening hours in the new premises will be extended.
