Playtone, the band that is billed as one of Scotland’s best kept secrets, has been booked to play tartan week in New York next year.  All the lads have gone full time with their commitment to music as they’re ready to make it big time. Which means the LOCAL NEWS will be losing dabhand advertising sales exec, James Grant, who doubles as Playtone’s drummer.

After an exciting invitation tour in Italy during the summer and a recent green tour of Ireland, James, Neb, Eddie and Watson are gigging in Glasgow at Barfly on Wednesday 21 November as part of their warm-up for world fame. Don’t miss them!
