The first ever Southside Soup Song and Swally rent raising party raised £400 for the Govanhill Baths Community Trust’s charity shop.

Around 80 people attended the music extravaganza featuring Swing Guitars, Hot Tamales and Charlie Pool at McNeill’s Bar in Torriesdale St, Govanhill. where the events will be held monthly.

The trust has been awarded £10,000 from the Big Lottery to help the second stage of their business plan. and funds from the Scottish Architectural Forum for a development worker.
