The SAMG Verve Scottish Rocks notched their first win of the new BBL season against Cheshire Jets with player/coach Sterling Davis in charge.

Six Rocks players scored in double figures. Co-captain Julius Josdeph led the way with 23 points. Maurice “Squeaky” Ganotib added 20 and Rob Yanders 15.

New signing, Bilal Clarance, hit 4 of 5 three-pointers for 12 points. The next Rocks match  is at Braehead against Newcastle Eagles on Wed. Oct 10.
