The Disability Rights Commission (DRC), held a ‘Try A Bus’ event at the Adelphi Centre, Gorbals, last month.

Organised in conjunction with First Bus and several voluntary organisations, the event was opened by Scotland’s first Muslim MSP, Bashir Ahmed.

He said, ‘This is an opportunity for people to learn about their rights on public transport and to highlight the problems facing people in the disabled communities. By bringing First Bus on board, the DRC has brought these concerns to the forefront of the transport industry.’
