The Prince and Princes of Wales Hospice in Carlton Place will benefit from a Golf Tournament held by Glasgow South East Regeneration Agency (GSERA).

Other local charities and good causes will also receive gifts from the £6000 raised on the day. Winners at the Ralston Golf Club were Precise Cleaning with the GSERA team second and Calcluth and Sangster taking third place.

The guest speaker at the dinner which followed was the renowned raconteur Robbie Glen. Frank McAveety, MSP, conducted the auction with his usual aplomb.

Said Bill Hay, the event organiser, ‘This was a most successful day. Thanks are due to the players and those who joined us for dinner as well as Gladedale Partnerships Limited for sponsoring the prizes and everyone who donated raffle prizes and auction items.’
