Catherine Laird, Store Manager, also donated £200 to the school’s funds as a token of their appreciation.
Catherine said, ‘As a community retailer it is appropriate that we involve the community in special events and we are delighted our local school is playing a central role in the relaunch of our shop.’
The Braidcraft Terrace store is among the first of the Co-operative Group’s 3,300 outlets in the UK to feature their new consumer owned identity.
