With over 3,000 jobs on offer can you afford to miss this chance?

The development of Silverburn has already provided a huge boost to the area; not only in terms of jobs created but also as a further stage in the growth and development of Pollok.

Due to open in October, Silverburn will offer 95 stores and 14 restaurants, cafes and leisure opportunities including retailers such as Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, Schuh, Next and River Island.

Through Greater Pollok Working (GPW), a project led by Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency, Silverburn has already provided employment opportunities for 167 local residents during the construction phase. In addition GPW has secured 1000 new jobs from eight employers and has guaranteed job interviews for those who complete our training course.

The learning, training and employment support offered by GSWRA will enable local people to take advantage of the new opportunities at Silverburn. GSWRA’s dedicated Learning & Skills Development Team are there to help you gain those all important skills by running training courses.
