    Dad’s day 10k

Friday, June 8th, 2007. Filed under - South Side, - Sport.

On Father’s Day, June 17, Men’s Health Forum Scotland will hold the second 10K run for men in Bellahouston Park.

The event was launched at the Palace of Art in Bellahouston Park and is being run in partnership with the charity Cancerbackup.
Last year a national run attracted more than 1,500 participants and is expected to sign up 5,000 this year. It is the only 10K specifically for men in the UK and is open to those over 15.

Men’s Health Forum Scotland (MHFS) is setting up a network of men’s jogging groups to encourage guys from all over Scotland who don’t currently undertake much exercise, to become more active and healthy. Further information can be found at www.mhfs.org.uk.

To register for the MHFS 10K for Men online, visit www.mhfs.org.uk or for further information contact Sarah McMillan 0141 550 7515 sarah@mhfs.org.uk or Claire Noel 0141 223 7683 cnoel@cancerbackup.org.
