From now until March 9, Pollokshaws Library will have reading events on Friday afternoons at 2.30pm as part of the nationwide Abolition of Slavery anniversary programme. The book being discussed will be Andrea Levy’s ‘Small Island’ the story of black immigrants to Britain.
