Glasgow is enjoying a huge surge in its numbers of new jobs.

Last year, 17,166 new jobs were created in the city and the Glasgow attracted a record £4.2 billion in private investment.

Glasgow City Council leader Steven Purcell said: ‘In the space of just one year, we’ve seen the number of jobs in the city grow by almost 20,000.  This is outstanding news as we continue to attract jobs in record numbers.’
