Television design gurus Colin and Justin, whose programme filmed in Arden is currently being shown on channel Five, have designed a new office for local development company EQUIP.

The designers, native Glaswegians themselves, approached EQUIP during the filming of their programme Colin and Justin on the Estate. The new Kyleakin Road office, unveiled on the programme, will help Arden’s residents ‘realise their full potential’ through providing guidance, training and advice in employment. Visitors will also have access to the award-winning cyber-café, ‘Bytes and PCs’. EQUIP also specialises in helping people who are not yet job ready with services including education, advice in building confidence and assistance with child care.

EQUIP’s Managing Director Sandra Inrig said, ‘Like Colin and Justin, EQUIP is determined to help improve the Arden area and make a difference to people’s lives.  Colin and Justin on the Estate has been an excellent step in helping to transform the Arden area and it is EQUIP’s aim to continue this progression by providing the tools and training to change people’s lives. One of the programme’s legacies is that the strong corporate identity in the EQUIP Arden office is being used as a template for our other new EQUIP office in Pollokshaws.’
