Govan Initiative has a new Chief Executive. Alison Sinclair replaced Damien Yeates at the end of September after he took up his new appointment as Chief Executive of the Scottish University for Industry.

Mother of two pre-school children, Alison joined Govan Initiative in 1993 as Finance Manager. She rapidly rose to become Finance Director then Assistant Chief Executive before securing the top job. 

Alison, who graduated from Strathclyde University’s Graduate Business School with an MBA in 2000, lives in Burnside with her husband and two young sons. She is also a fully qualified fitness instructor.
