Over 250 holders of the Veterans Badge and their guests enjoyed a day of events organised by Pollok MP Ian Davidson at Tradeston Ex-Servicemen’s Club.
 
There were speeches, a meal, drinks and ‘first class entertainment by professional entertainers and local talent’ and practical help from the local Air Cadets.

Mr Davidson presented over 30 ex-servicemen with their badges. He said, ‘A good time was had by all, Nonetheless, it had the serious purpose of reminding us all of the debt we owe to those who gave willingly to ensure the security of this country and to maintain the liberties that we all enjoy today.’
