The Tulip Inn, Gorbals, has a new Sales Manager. Susan Hannah, who won a Sales and Revenue ‘Star of the Year 2005-2006’ award in her previous post at the City Inn Glasgow.

Susan started her career at the Harbour View Inn in Michigan, USA. She has held sales and account management posts with Expedia and with Glasgow’s Malmaison Hotel. In addition, she was a supervisory manager for corporate travel specialists ATP International.

Lucy Franchi, general manager at the Tulip Inn, said: ‘I am delighted that Susan has joined the Tulip Inn team. She has worked for blue chip hotels and travel specialists and has good account management and business development experience.’

The hotel, in Ballater Street, has recently launched a take-away breakfast  for residents which provides a nutritious start to the day and is proving popular for people wanting to make an early work or travel start.

Golden Tulip UK, the parent company of the Gorbals Tulip Inn, is part of Golden Tulip Hotels Inns and Resorts and is one of the 20 largest hotel organisations in the world.
