Pupils in S3 have taped interviews of former pupils’ experiences and will be viewed on plasma screens in the school hall. Head Teacher Thomas McDonald will plant a tree in the school garden to commemorate the 70 years of Holyrood Secondary. He will also bury a time-capsule containing newspapers from 2006, class photos, art work and other current commemorative items. Said Mr McDonald ‘I have only been Head for a year so I’m thrilled to be taking part in the 70th anniversary celebrations.’
