Over 170 motorbike enthusiasts turned up at Glasgow Financial Services (GFS) Cathcart office on July 30 to ride to Oban, where the participants enjoyed a barbeque. A further 80 motorbikes joined the run at The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, bringing the total to more than 250 riders. GFS donated £15 per biker to the hospital.
Sid Khan, GFS Business Development Manager, said, ‘It was a fantastic response. The generosity of the bikers goes to show they don’t always deserve their bad image. It was such a big success that we will definitely do it again next year.’
GFS hope to make the event annual and attract 500 riders next year.
