Police are trying to trace relatives of a 79-year-old Govan woman who died in July.

Annie McGhie died at her home in Clynder Street on July 27. Police said that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Police have been unsuccessful in trying to trace any next of kin or relatives of Miss McGhie despite extensive enquiries.

It is believed that she never married or had any children. She was ‘an upholsterer to trade but appears to have stopped working in the 1950s’.
