Three men’s health clinics in the Southside are to close due to a lack of funding. The central £4 million funding from the Scottish Executive has run out for the ‘pilot’ clinics in Pollok, Pollokshaws and Castlemilk, which are among nine clinics closing in Greater Glasgow.

Men’s life expectancy is as low as age 63 in parts of the city, the lowest figure in the country.
